Ironclad Dominion
★★★★☆ 4.4
Ironclad Dominion asks you to manage supply lines as much as armies. You're defending a stretch of frontier that keeps getting squeezed, and the tension comes from deciding what to sacrifice. Lose a mine and your whole economy wobbles two turns later.
It's not a tap-fest. Battles play out on a hex map with fog of war, and you'll often spend a full minute just planning a single turn. The interface is dense but readable once it clicks, and there's a satisfying moment when a plan you set up three turns ago finally pays off.
What we liked
