Arcade Racers Beat Sims on Mobile

I love a serious racing sim on a wheel setup, but on a phone? Arcade racing wins almost every time. Neon Drift Rally proves the point by making drifting feel great without demanding precision I can't deliver on glass.

Touchscreens just aren't suited to subtle throttle control. Arcade games lean into that by making the fun loud and immediate: chain drifts, build boost, overtake. It's a design built for the hardware instead of fighting it.

That doesn't mean there's no skill. Shaving seconds off a track still takes practice and good lines. The game just meets you halfway instead of punishing you for not owning a controller.

If racing sims have left you cold on mobile, don't give up on the genre. An arcade title might be the version that finally clicks.
